Equipment

  • 1 toaster
  • 1 knife

Ingredients

  • 1 piece of bread toasted
  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese
  • 2 strawberries cut into strips
  • 6 blueberries

Instructions

  • Toast your bread. Spread a layer of cream cheese over the toast.
  • Spread a layer of cream cheese over the toast.
  • Make a square or rectangle of blueberries in the upper left corner to be the blue part of the flag.
  • Cut strawberries into strips and halve lengthwise to make long pieces of strawberries to make red stripes on the rest of the flag.

Notes

You could also use blackberries in place of blueberries. If you don't want to use cream cheese, try vanilla yogurt.
Tip for the bread: Toasted bread works better than untoasted since it keeps the bread flat under the weight of all the toppings.
