Equipment

  • 1 pair of scissors

Ingredients

  • Printer paper or thin scrapbook paper  cardstock or even construction paper is too thick
  • Tape
  • Straw
  • Pencil or pen for rolling your blower sleeve
  • Ruler
  • Crepe paper or extra paper for fringe optional

Instructions

  • Cut a rectangle of paper that’s about 3″ wide x 7″ long.
  • Fold your paper lengthwise a little past the middle point of your paper.
  • Fold the other side over it and tape down the overlap and on the end of the paper so it makes a rectangular sleeve to catch the air.
  • Starting with the taped end, roll your paper sleeve around a pencil or pen to curl it up.
  • Slip the open end of the sleeve into a straw and pinch the sides of the straw so it’s more sealed around the straw. Use tape to tape in place and cut the straw to trim the length if you would like.
  • You can cut some fringe out of paper or crepe paper and tape it around your blower for an extra decoration.
  • Now your party blower is ready to party!

Notes
