Watermelon Craft
Make a paper plate watermelon as the perfect summer activity! Kiddos will love getting to paint and learn about this summertime favorite fruit.
Servings: 2 paper watermelon
Equipment
- 1 pair of scissors
- 1 paintbrush
Ingredients
- acrylic paint in green, pink or red and black
- 1 paper plate
Instructions
- Paint the edges of the entire paper plate green.
- Allow time to dry between steps and then paint the center of the plate pink or red.
- Once dry, use a small amount of black acrylic paint on your child's pointer finger to add black dots throughout the center section.
- Once the paint is completely dry, cut the circle in half to create two watermelon pieces.
Notes
You could also use dried black beans, coffee beans, buttons, poms or actual watermelon seeds for this craft.
