Choose six sheets of tissue paper. Lay them out flat, one on top of the other, aligning the sides as best as you can.
Using a ruler, measure a rectangle 12"x6".
Cut out the rectangle. (save the other paper for a different project- tissue paper mosaics, etc).
With the short (6") side facing you, make 1" accordion folds. (Fold the tissue paper away from you, flip the paper, fold it, repeat.)
Wrap the folded tissue paper with a pipe cleaner around the middle.
Trim the edges of the folds in a rounded shape.TIP: This is optional. You can leave the folds untrimmed for a slightly different look to your tissue paper flower.
Carefully fan out one side of the folds.
Gently start to separate the layers of tissue paper. Don't worry if a little bit tears here and there - it is tissue paper. Once the flower is completely unfolded, a few small tears won't show.
Continue separating the layers on one side until they are all apart. Repeat on the other side.
After all the layers have been separated, then you can gently "fluff" the flower, bringing some of the layers to the middle and shaping it.
To make a bouquet, take several stems, an extra pipe cleaner and twist it to securely wrap around the stems.
