How to Make a Football Pom Pom Popper
This fun activity is a great way to get football loving kiddos crafting!

Equipment
- 1 Pair of scissors or an x-acto knife
Ingredients
- 1 brown cup or paper towel roll
- 1 white acrylic marker or paint pen
- 1 brown balloon
- 2 pieces tape
- 1 cup mini pom poms or marshmallows
Instructions
- Draw lines on your brown paper cup to look like football seams.
- Cut out the bottom of your cup- have an adult do this part! You can use an x-acto knife or I just used scissors and then tore it out.
- Knot a brown balloon and then cut off the top.
- Slide the ballon onto the bottom of the cup. Secure with tape.
- Fill your cup with mini pom poms or mini marshmallows. Pull back the bottom of the balloon and let it go to make it fire.
Notes
Use a paper towel roll instead of a toilet paper one, they're a bit sturdier.
Don't skip the tape- I also usually tell my boys to hold it around where the balloon is taped on. Depending on how far back they pull the balloon part it can make it come apart.
