Paper Plate Umbrella Craft for Kids
Make this simple paper plate umbrella craft while reading Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs or when learning about the weather!

Equipment
- 1 pair of scissors
Ingredients
- 1 paper plate
- 1 piece cardstock paper any color
- 1 paint sitck in color of choice. Could also use markers or paint!
- 1 glue stick
- misc decorating items lime pom poms, glitter, markers
Instructions
- Paint your paper plate in the color of your choice. I love using paint markers because they dry so quickly and are less messy!
- Cut your paper plate in half, making scallops if you prefer.
- Cut out a 'J' shaped handle from cardstock paper and glue to the back of the paper plate to create your umbrella handle.
- Decorate the umbrella
