1bagcandy corn5 pieces per turkey cookie
1cupbutterscotch chocolate chips1 per turkey cookie
1cupcandy eyes2 per turkey cookie
1tbspred icing
1cupmilk chocolate melting wafersoptional
Instructions
If using golden oreos and wanting to add a base of brown, melt your chocolate melting wafers in 30-second increments and dip your cookie in. Allow to set.If you're using regular oreos, you'll skip this step!
Add your candy corn to the oreo cookie. I did this by poking the tip of the candy corn inside of the oreo. These is not super stable but you're going for a cute treat, it doesn't have to be perfect and feathers will most likely fall out.
Using a dot of frosting or icing, adhere your candy eyes and butterscotch chocolate chip to the oreo cookie base.
Take your red icing and add a small dot to represent the wattle. Allow to dry. Make your turkey cookies a day or two before Thanksgiving and keep in an airtight container. They'll stay good for a few days, but then will begin to get stale.
