I was in charge of the game for my son’s kindergarten Valentine’s Day party, and one of our favorite games to play at home is charades, so I decided to make a printable version that we could use for his class too!
This printable Valentine’s Day charades game is a lot of fun to play inside, as a part of game night, and works great for class parties.
The printable comes with 5 pages, and 20 cards total with different words that kids can act out. For this set, we used an illustration and a word to help those early readers. If you want to reuse the cards over and over we recommend getting some self-laminating sheets so that they”ll hold up for a bit longer.

How to Play Charades
- Start by splitting the group into two teams. Each team will pick one person to go first.
- Then, the player picks a card at random.
- Without speaking, they can start to act out their card for their teammates to guess within an allotted timeframe.
- The team that gets the most points wins.

Tips and Ideas for Prizes
- Play boys vs girls, or grown ups vs adults for a fun twist!
- Depending on the age of the children, maybe pair them up with an adult helper or have a parent nearby to chime in if needed.
- Sometimes, if we’re struggling, we allow for noises or sounds to help get the guess!
- You can reuse these sheets again and again! If you’re having children mark on them consider laminating them and reusing them with a reusable marker.
