Shamrock Fingerprint Craft

Equipment

  • 1 low temperature glue gun
  • 1 pair of scissors

Ingredients

  • 4 popsicle sticks
  • 2 google eyes per craft
  • green acrylic paint or washable paint
  • 1 glue stick
  • 1 black marker

Instructions

  • Cut a square of paper a little smaller than the size of your popsicle sticks.
  • Paint child's thumb with dark green paint and make four thumbprints in the middle of the paper, overlapping a little in a four-leaf clover shape.
  • Use paint and paintbrush or a marker to add a stem on your clover.
  • Glue on google eyes and draw a smile with a marker.
  • Have the child write (or help them write) "SO LUCKY TO HAVE YOU" around your four-leaf clover.
  • Glue two popsicle sticks onto each side of your paper and then glue two more on the top and bottom to make a frame. Now your St. Patrick's Day four-leaf clover craft is ready to spread some luck!
