St. Patrick’s Day crafts are a fun way to celebrate and learn about the holiday. Holiday crafts help kids learn about the calendar year, and why we celebrate certain days when we do.
This shamrock fingerprint craft makes a perfect card to give a loved one or would be a great St. Patrick’s Day decoration.
This project is fun and accessible for all ages, but if you’re making it with a toddler, they may need a bit more help with some parts. The skills being worked on with this craft include cutting and glueing, as well as using paint and markers.

- Glue two popsicle sticks onto each side of your paper, and then glue two more on the top and bottom to make a frame.
Tips for Your Shamrock Craft:
- You can either paint the green paint onto the child’s thumb with a paintbrush, or you can let them dip their thumb into some paint if you don’t have a paintbrush handy.
