What you’ll need to make it
- Construction paper or cardstock in orange and black (or green, purple, pink, etc!)
- Pumpkin cutouts (similar to what’s shown here) or use one of our pumpkin templates
- Paint
- Glue stick
- Scissors (if your child is old enough. If not, you can pre-cut the shapes for the face details.)
How to Make Your Jack-O-Lantern Craft
- Cut out your pumpkin shape.
- Let kids paint the base of the pumpkin. You can also use crayons if they prefer coloring. If painting, leave time to dry. (These kwik sticks are a fun option for preschoolers, they dry in 90 seconds!)
- Glue on your face pieces using your glue stick.
