Zoom, we’re off to the races! My son is a huge fan of anything car-related, so this free printable car template was a big hit! Whether you’re little one is into anything with wheels or just needs a fun new coloring page, this one is for you!

Below you will find a pdf file you can download to print. We’ve included a traditional car outline, the detail pieces for both a classic and a race car to design a car and smaller versions of each vehicle as well. These can also be used as a coloring page or as a paint project, just like our bus template.

How to Use This Car Template

This template is for personal and educational use only. Feel free to use it as home or in your classroom. It is not intended for commercial use. If you use our template, please link back to this page.

Car Printable

Using a printable is a fun way to teach children of all ages about cars. As a preschool or kindergarten craft they can do more of the cutting and coloring with you. You can also print out multiple pages of the parts of the vehicles and use it as an opportunity to learn about how cars work.
