When you think about sharks does ‘Baby Shark’ pop in your head or ‘Just Keep Swimming?’ Just me? Well this shark template is a free template that’s perfect for coloring or crafting while learning about this sea creature!

Below you will find a pdf file you can download to print. We’ve included three sharks- a Great White Shark, a Hammerhead Shark and a Tiger Shark in both a large and small size.

Shark Printable

Using a printable is a fun way to start teaching kids about this animal, the ocean, or just as a fun coloring page to work on fine motor skills. If you’re using it with a toddler it’s the perfect craft to make while jamming out to Baby Shark. As a preschool or kindergarten craft they can do more of the cutting and coloring with you too. If you printed out and made multiple sharks they’d be great on a bulletin board or display!

Shark Craft

Ready to make your cut out shark? Follow these steps!

Supplies Needed

• Shark Template download
• Construction paper or cardstock in colors of your choice (assorted paper pack)
• school glue or gluestick
• scissors (age appropriate, use with supervision if needed)
• googley eyes
• Crayons or markers

Making a Shark

1. Print out your template(s).
2. Cut out the shark pieces and trace it onto the color you want the body of the shark to be.
3. Next trace any of the smaller pieces like the fins and mouth and glue them on. Glue on the googley eyes as well.
4. As an alternative, you can trace one outline on yellow paper and use paint or markers to add the details.
