Banana Printable

Using a banana printable is a fun way to teach children of all ages about the letter b, different fruits and what animals love them, or even textures. It’s the perfect craft to pair with a sensory snack time. As a preschool or kindergarten craft they can do more of the cutting and coloring with you, toddlers may just enjoy the coloring and snacking.

Banana Craft

Ready to make your cut out banana? Follow these steps!

Supplies Needed

  • Banana template download sheet
  • Construction paper or cardstock in two different shades of yellow (assorted paper pack)
  • school glue
  • scissors
  • markers

Steps to Assembling Your Banana

  1. Print out your template(s).
  2. Cut out the banana and trace it onto yellow paper.
  3. Next trace the part of the banana that is coming out of the peel.
  4. As an alternative, you can trace one outline on yellow paper and use paint or markers to add the details.
  5. Glue the pieces together. You can use the lighter yelllow and glue to the peel to show the inside of the peel too.
