It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas, and making trees is an easy nostalgic craft for children. These free printable templates are simple to print and trace.

You can use them to make your own Christmas tree farm, decorations, cards or gift wrap. You can also use them as a coloring sheet for a quick coloring or painting project!

Christmas Tree Printable:

There are endless ways to use these printable outlines. You can cut out several and make a garland, add magnets and put them on the fridge, use them as coloring pages, or turn them into a greeting card!

Christmas Tree Craft:

Ready to make your trees? Follow these steps.

Supplies Needed:

Christmas tree template download
Various shades of green cardstock (assorted paper pack)
School glue
Scissors
Acrylic paint for fingerprints

Directions:

Download your tree template and print using printer paper.
Cut out the tree shapes (or allow kids to help if they’re old enough to) and trace them onto your green paper.
Cut out the green paper and a small piece of brown paper to make the tree stump.
Attach the tree stump to the tree and allow kids to use their fingers or a paintbrush to add ornaments and decorations to the tree.
