Ingredients
- Red layer- this needs to be your highest sugar content. I used Cranberry Apple Juice.
- White layer- I tried both white grape juice and white gatorade, and both worked and were tasty! I’ve seen people use coconut flabored sobe too, and that has a bit more of creamy look.
- Blue layer- Zero glacier freeze gatorade is the way to go with this one!
You can try other flavors and drinks too, the big thing is the sugar content.
Directions
Fill your glass with ice. You really want it filled with ice as this is key to the colors separating properly in my opinion.
Add your red juice to the bottom of the glass, creating your first layer.
Pour over an upside down spoon add your white layer. I used a lot more of this drink than the other colors to really try to create separation between the red juice and blue juice, just like a bomb pop.
Allow to sit for a few seconds and settle, then pour your blue drink over your spoon as the top layer.
Tips or Question
- Using a spoon helped me to get an even and slow pour! I think this was the easiest way.
- You really want a full glass of ice to help separate the layers!
- Add your straw to the glass first so it doesn’t stir up your drink.
- You could use any liquid or juice- just make sure the red has the most sugar and the blue the least! I actually thought the cran-apple juice worked really well with the white grape juice and white gatorade both!
