Tips for making Rice Krispies Turkey Legs:
- Make sure your mixture is cool enough to handle before shaping, the warmer it is, the more it will want to fall off your pretzel bone.
- Try drizzling some melted chocolate over the legs after they are shaped to add an extra chocolate layer.
- If you don’t want to mess with the melting chocolate step, you could also make these with a plain pretzel rod as well.

How to Make a Rice Krispies Turkey Legs

Step 1. Melt your white chocolate candy melts, stirring every 30 seconds at at time, in a microwavable bowl (on low heat) until melted.

Step 2. Use your melted chocolate as a glue to glue two mini marshmallows to the end of a halved pretzel stick.
Place in freezer for 5 minutes to set.

Step 3. Dip your pretzel rod ends in the melted chocolate and place on wax paper to set in the fridge.
Some chocolate may be thinner than others, so you may want to dip it twice to get a more consistent coat of white.
TIP: You can always melt for 30 seconds at a time on low again if your chocolate starts to set while you’re working.

Step 4. Melt your butter in a large pan on low. Add your mini marshmallows and stir until melted.

Step 5. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla.

Step 6. Add your cocoa krispies and fold in gently until it’s all stirred together.

Step 7. Allow the mixture to cool for 5-10 minutes until it’s able to be handled without burning your hands. The cooler the mixture is, the easier it will be to form your drumstick shape.
Grab a pretzel bone and shape your krispies around the bone to make a turkey leg shape.
Allow to fully cool and set before serving.
