My son is very into monster trucks. We’ve gone to a few shows and he has quite the collection of toys going! So I was pretty excited to let him design his own with this monster truck coloring page! It’s both a template to make your own craft and a fun printable coloring page.

Monster Truck Printable
Using a printable is a fun way to teach children of all ages about the parts of a vehicle. If you’re using it with a toddler it’s the perfect craft for the wheels on the bus song. As a preschool or kindergarten craft they can do more of the cutting and coloring with you. You can also print out multiple pages of the parts of the monster truck and use it as an opportunity to learn about how they work.
Paper Monster Truck Craft
Ready to make a cut out monster truck? Follow these steps!
Supplies Needed
- Monster truck Template download
- scissors (with adult supervision as needed)
- Construction paper or cardstock (variety pack)
- Gluestick or school glue
Steps to Assembling Your Monster Truck
- Print out your template(s).
- Cut out the monster truck and trace it onto paper. You can also print the pieces right onto your cardstock or construction paper.
- Next trace any of the individual pieces you want to glue on like wheels or windows.
- As an alternative, you can trace one outline on yellow paper and use paint or markers to add the details.
More Ideas to Try
- Use this template as a garland or as a part of part decor. This would go great with our dirt cake or dirt cups!
